Our Wedding

Carley reached out to Joey on instagram and they have talked everyday since then. Their first date was to Joey’s family’s cabin in the middle of the woods where it was -40 degrees. They stayed inside and watched all the final destination movies and made homemade pizza. They began dating February 3, 2024. They got their dog, Lady May, together in September of 2024. Joey proposed to Carley in Cancun on June 17, 2025! They are so excited to spend the rest of their lives together!! And to celebrate their love with everyone who loves them!

Put together and stylish, but not overly dressy or too casual. The ceremony is a 5 minute walk on a gravel road, so wearing boots, blocky heels, or flats would be best! We strongly suggest not wearing stilettos or tall heels, just keep that in mind !

We want our guests to have fun and enjoy themselves at the wedding, along with the fact that there is no parking at the venue. The shuttles will pick up from tbd location at tbd times and drop back off at the same location at tbd times. Thank you!

Shuttles 

The Butte airport is only a 30 minute drive from the town of Anaconda, and the Missoula airport is 1.5 hours to Anaconda. The Bozeman Yellowstone international airport is 2 hours from the venue. We recommend flying into those airports if you need to fly.

Airport 

We recommend you stay in Anaconda, MT! - The Forge +1 (406) 797-4100. We have a block set up at the Forge. Mention the McElroy/Garza wedding. Summer months in Montana book fast, so make sure to secure your accommodations ASAP. If you choose not to stay in a hotel, there are Airbnbs in town. Please reach out to us if you are thinking about camping as there is land near the venue, but it has certain requirements.

Hotels 

There is camping available right across the street from our venue. All you need is a conservation license from Montana FWP. Above is a picture showing you where the camping area is located. Tents and campers work, but must be self contained as there is no water, toilets, or power.
