Carley and Brett didn’t grow up together, but they both grew up in the Lord. After graduating from college, they each left their home congregations to attend Prestoncrest Church of Christ. It was there that they met. It was amazing how their two families were so much alike, and equally remarkable that both Carley and Brett were high school teachers. Their love for one another is deeply rooted in their individual love for God and their shared commitment to being true disciples of Christ. They know their relationship will endure because, as scripture says in Ecclesiastes 4:12, “And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”
