Kevin and I have poured our hearts into planning every detail of our special day, infusing it with our personalities to make it uniquely ours. The journey of planning has been an absolute joy, filled with laughter and love. As we approach our wedding day, the excitement is palpable – it marks the beginning of our forever.
We are incredibly grateful to have each one of you, our dearest friends and family, share in this moment with us. Your presence makes us feel immensely loved and special. We sincerely thank you for being a part of our celebration.
Our hope is that you not only enjoy the festivities but also create lasting memories alongside us. Lets make this day unforgettable together, and may the joy we share be etched in our hearts forever.
With love,
Carley & Kevin
Kevin and I crossed paths on Snapchat. He spotted my "friends" Christmas shirt in a story and cheekily asked, "nice shirt, where'd you get it?" A bit cheesy, but it sure got my attention. Interestingly , I had noticed Kevin before - tall and handsome. When he messaged me, I figured he was interested. I knew for sure he was interested when I got a text later suggesting drinks. I agreed and we officially met at Kevin's family Christmas, talk about awkward! When I arrived I was surprised when I saw a few familiar faces, Jasmine and Mike, who were also related to Kevin. Small World! We stayed up all night talking about who knows what. I knew then that Kevin was my person we have been by each others side ever since.
9.16.23 on family vacation at PCB
Every little girl dreams of her engagement to her prince charming. Kevin and I headed to the beach, making me believe it was just another family vacation. Little did I know, Kelsey, Kristin and Kevin spent the entire week scheming and planning the perfect moment. Despite having an inkling, I had no idea of how and when.
On the big day, Kevin, who never makes the bed, did just that, and things started feeling a bit fishy. We went for lunch at Pier Park while Kelsey and Kristin set the plan in motion. Kevin's phone died, and my sisters had no way to communicate. As we returned to the condo door, Kevin said, "You have to open the door." I gave him that look, you know the one.
Entering, "Love Story" played on the radio, rose petals covered the floor, and a sign that read, "Two Less Fish In The Sea." Kevin, on one knee held a stunning ring box. No elaborate speech, just a straightforward question, "Will you marry me?" I responded with , "Yes, you idiot." reflecting our humor. Now, there are two less fish in the sea because WE'RE ENGAGED!
