Carley and Brett's love story began in the bustling halls of Lake Zurich High School back in 2016. They were acquaintances at first, but it wasn't long before it blossomed into something deeper. As they attended prom and celebrated Brett's graduation, they realized they had something special.

Their journey continued as Brett headed off to the University of Illinois in the fall of 2017, studying Political Science. Meanwhile, Carley finished her senior year at Lake Zurich and decided on the University of Illinois as well, starting her studies in Finance and Accounting in 2018. Despite the demands of their respective programs, they made time for each other, often meeting up on campus for lunch or study dates. After years of balancing academics and their growing relationship, Brett proudly graduated in May 2021, with Carley following suit in December of the same year, earning highest honors. Their academic achievements laid the foundation for their future together.

In the summer of 2023, Carley and Brett took a leap and moved into a cozy one-bedroom apartment in Buffalo Grove, marking the beginning of their shared life. They embraced adulthood with open arms, and in April 2024, they welcomed a furry addition to their family: a playful puppy named Chex. Their journey continued to evolve as they moved to a townhouse in Mundelein, where they could enjoy more space and continue building their life together.

The highlight of their adventures came on a picturesque day in Grand Teton National Park on June 27, 2024. With breathtaking mountains as their backdrop, Brett dropped to one knee and asked Carley to marry him. Overwhelmed with joy, she enthusiastically said yes, knowing their love was meant for a lifetime of happiness. As they plan their wedding and look forward to the future, Carley and Brett are excited to embark on more journeys together!
