Q + A

What city should I fly into?

The wedding will take place in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Dubrovnik does have its own airport. However, it is a smaller airport with less frequent flights coming in from the US. Therefore, if you have the time we suggest flying in and out of a larger hub city such as Rome, Barcelona, London, or Amsterdam. Spend a few days exploring a new city before heading to Dubrovnik!

How should I book my flight?

We highly recommend google flights. Specifically, the multi city function will allow you to map out a flight into one city but a flight home from another city. If you have any questions about flights or would like some suggestions, do not hesitate to reach out to the bride and groom, this is one of our favorite things to research :)

Where should I stay?

Dubrovnik is a very walkable city, so we suggest staying in an airbnb within a 10 or 15 minute walk from old town. That being said, the city is known for its stairs so if that concerns you be sure to read reviews to make sure you are not booking a place with too many stairs. We have linked a few suggestions under the "travel" section of our website, but we also recommend that you read reviews and make your own decision!

When should I arrive to Dubronvnik?

We recommend arriving Wednesday, September 18th. We will have a few optional activities on the nights of the 18th and 19th for anyone in town.

What is the dress code?

Semi-formal. For women we do recommend flat shoes or chunky heels, as the old cobblestone flooring of the venue can be hard to walk on in thin heels.

What will the weather be like?

Historically the weather in Dubrovnik in September has been mid 70s and sunny. Be sure to pack your swimsuit because the ocean should still be warm enough for swimming!
