Jonah and Carli met as counselors at High Point summer camp. While she flirted openly, Jonah remained respectful, but seemingly uninterested. That fall, they both attended Applied Life Leader’s Academy. It was Carli’s second year, which allowed her to date, just not Jonah. Their admiration and attraction grew over the nine months of personal growth. When the program ended, they knew distance would separate them, so they agreed to pause their relationship—though daily FaceTime calls said otherwise. Reuniting at the same camp the following summer, they finally expressed their true feelings. Realizing that long distance would be hard, but being apart even harder, they took a leap of faith and trusted God with their future. Now, two years later, they’re GETTING MARRIED!!
