Anthony and Carlie first met at their job in Housing and Residence Life their junior year of college at The University of Dayton.

After graduating from college, Anthony moved to Alabama for several years and then back up to Dayton as an Engineer with Inteva. Carlie moved to Eastern Kentucky and then back home to Cincinnati as an Intervention Specialist. Despite the distance, Anthony and Carlie always kept in touch with each other, spending hours and hours talking on the phone!

Summer 2022, Anthony moved to Cincinnati to work at Ethicon with Johnson and Johnson. Carlie and Anthony started dating not long after Anthony moved to town!

Anthony and Carlie continued dating in the midst of Carlie's first foster care placement. Anthony jumped right in to help. They saw the placement through to the end and the boys went home July 1, 2023.

Anthony proposed to Carlie July 14th, 2023! What a wonderful life it will be!
