For those who dont know, Carlos and Trina met, where a lot of people seem to meet these days, on the internet. That first message led to their first hang out - randomly driving to Tulip Time which also ended up being where they got engaged, 2 years later.

They both grew up in Grand Rapids their whole lives, yet they have never seen or heard of one another. They even attended the same high school graduation for his brother and her cousin in 2017 (granted East Kentwood is a huge school but still 😂).

Carlos and Trina met at time of their lives where they both werent looking for anything at all, relationship wise. They would go out for drinks during the week, ice cream at Woodys, do random things like enter themselves in a taco eating contest, and go for drives. They both didnt think anything of their relationship at the time. Just friends - nothing more, nothing less.

They took their first trip to Chicago together in August 2022. Next thing you know, Trina somehow becomes Carloss girlfriend in October 2022. They take their first flight together in December 2022. Their travels turnt all the way up from there. As their love for travel grew so did their love for each other. In May 2024 they got engaged and now theyre here to tell you their story.

Who knew that the first time Carlos and Trina would hang out would lead to them getting married?
