Our Wedding

<p>Our story began in a small Oklahoma town known as Alva back in 2018.<br>Band students got to move into college a little early because we had a marching show to work on to be prepared for football season, The very first day of camp that year was when I first noticed Carlos. I was sitting on the floor with friends when he walked in. He immediately caught my eye. I could see what kind of person he was just by the way he carried himself. I knew he was goofy but at the same time sweet. Over that week I learned more about him just through the band camp activities we all had to do. I discovered that I was right about him being goofy. I knew I still wanted to know him better. I somehow got his Snapchat and we started a streak. We never talked more than “hey what’s up” or “streak”. This happened for the next nearly two years. We stayed up one night texting and I knew we had a bond that wouldn’t be broken easily.  We hung out every single day. Tie dying shirts, skateboarding, eating Taco Bell and really just spending quality time together. We then planned a trip to Duncan, hit a cow, and the rest is history! </p>

Katie’s Version:

When I first hung out with Katie we skated the first day and then a day or two later we drove from alva to enid to eat Taco Bell and chik-fil-a. Then we watched a ton of movies together and I finally decided after hanging out with her for a straight month I asked her to be my girlfriend. After I moved her and I into our rent house in Alva, we ate together all the time and fished every now and then, still went to enid to eat junk food every now and then. Later moved to Duncan after being in Alva together for half a year. So far we’ve been in Duncan for almost 3 years. December 17, 2022 is when I asked Katie if she would marry me in brick town okc, it was very cold and windy that day but she still said yes.  So far we are planning on moving towards lawton so we can kickstart our future/careers.
