Our Story

Fateful Amóre

Carlos and Arrah's journey began in 2011 when they were both first-year college students. They met by chance in the faculty office of their Religion and Philosophy professor. Carlos was there to submit a research paper, while Arrah was looking for the professor for a consultation about her classes. As fate would have it, the professor wasn't there. Arrah, with her bold spirit, invited Carlos to lunch, assuming they were classmates. To her surprise, they weren't. However, that one lunch was enough for them to click immediately. From hobbies to TV shows and random facts about life, their conversation flowed effortlessly. The 30-minute lunch felt like a reunion with old friends.

During college, their paths rarely crossed, but whenever they did, it felt as if their friendship had spanned years. Over the years, they ran into each other in the most unexpected places: at a bank where Arrah was struggling to deposit money, where Carlos coincidentally modeled for her fashion class, at Arrah's 22nd birthday party which Carlos crashed, and even at a common friend's wedding, where they found themselves as surprise guests despite not being on good terms.

When they started officially dating, they only had about 8 months together physically before Carlos flew to America to pursue his Master's degree and work for US companies. For the first four years of their relationship, they were long-distance. They made sure to call each other every day and share how their days went. It was challenging, but it made their relationship stronger. When Carlos returned from the US, their reunion was all the sweeter.

Despite the ups and downs, one pivotal night intended as their final goodbye changed everything. That night, Arrah gave Carlos one chance to date her. That one date turned into seven wonderful years, leading them to this beautiful moment where they are now preparing to say "I do."
