Carlos and Larissa met in 6th grade at Our Mother of Sorrows School. In 7th grade, they had the same teacher and Carlos asked Larissa to be his girlfriend after lunch just before Thanksgiving. This is their 8th grade promotion.

Carlos and Larissa went to separate high schools and broke up the summer before their Junior Year. After a year and a half, they reconnected and got back together the end of their Senior Year.

Carlos asked Larissa to Senior Prom a month after they got back together.

Larissa moved to Flagstaff for grad school in August of 2021. They did long distance for 2 years but visited each other often! One of their favorite memories of Flagstaff is snowboarding for the first time .

On November 22nd, 2022, Carlos and Larissa went to dinner at Sullivan's Steakhouse, where they had their first date back together. During dessert, Carlos asked Larissa to marry him. We can't wait to celebrate our love story with you all on February 24, 2024!
