It all started on August 31st, 2023, in a parking garage at Kobie’s apartment. It was there that he first laid eyes on Carly, and in that moment, it felt like his heart was about to burst out of his chest. The instant he saw her, he knew there was something special about this beautiful woman standing before him.

Kobie, always the adventurous spirit, suggested they head to Dick’s Last Resort for a bite, followed by a moonlit walk along the Katy Trail located in the heart of Dallas. As they strolled through the quiet night, they found themselves diving deep into conversation, asking each other questions that went beyond the surface and learning more about one another than they ever expected. It was in those quiet, meaningful moments that they began to realize just how connected they really were.

Just three weeks later, on September 21st, just like that one song, Kobie asked Carly to be his girlfriend. And from that moment on, their journey together only deepened. When people ask, “How did you guys meet?” we love to joke and say, “We exchanged car insurances after a fender bender!” But in truth, we met on Hinge, and we couldn’t be more grateful that fate brought us together.

On December 23rd of 2024, Kobie asked for Carly's hand in marriage. Our love is built on laughter, trust, and the simple joy of being in each other’s company. We appreciate each other more every single day—through the small moments, the adventures, and everything in between. There’s a sense of comfort and excitement in being with one another, knowing that we’ve found someone who supports and loves us fully, just as we are. We can’t wait to continue building our life together, side by side.
