Our wedding will take place in the charming small town of Hawthorne, Florida—located about 30 minutes east of Gainesville, where you’ll find plenty of hotel options.

The closest airport is Gainesville Regional Airport which is about 30 minutes from the Lakehouse but, it is a small airport, and you will likely need to make a connecting flight.

The second closest airport in Jacksonville International Airport which is 1.5 hours from the Lakehouse.

The wedding party will be staying at the Lakehouse, and extended family will be accommodated in homes reserved around the lake.

For all other guests, we highly recommend searching the lake area on Airbnb or VRBO and booking a home with friends or family. Most available rentals are within 15 minutes of each other, making it easy for everyone to stay close.
