While we love your little ones, we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope you can enjoy a night off and celebrate with us! 

Our Wedding

We met sophomore year in high school. We had a class together, hard to remember which one it was- clearly we paid good attention. We talked occasionally and he asked me to the homecoming dance and I said yes. We dated for about a year in high school before we broke up. Next came our college years-Richard and my friend, Sara, happened to go to the same college. We saw each other when I visited her at college but we didn’t really talk much. After college that same friend would invite him to hang out with us in a group setting. At first I was skeptical of him because of the past but after spending more time together we found we enjoyed each other’s company. The margaritas we had together didn’t hurt either. We started officially dating the summer of 2018. COVID happened &amp; thankfully Richard was nice enough to keep me company at my apartment and basically moved in. We found ways to keep ourselves entertained by making a drink of the day, creating obstacle courses, and watching my sister’s cat even though Richard is allergic to cats. We were together 24/7 and didn’t get tired of each other- it only made us closer. Fast forward and we got an apartment together. When we moved in I realized how willing Richard was to compromise. Richard said he’s “still allergic to cats” and I wanted a cat, so we compromised and got our first cat, Bonzo, the day after we moved in…along with allergy medicine. After a year of him growing out of his allergies, we got our second cat, Pimento. The following year we took a huge step and bought a townhouse together and an even bigger step by getting our dog, Kiwi. The deal was if I “bought” him a dog then he would buy me a ring. It worked. Cheers to second chances and do-overs.
