Our adventure began in medical school at USC, when we were assigned to be anatomy lab partners from the get-go. During this time, we were able to grow as friends until FINALLY Matthew asked me on a date at the end of the first semester.

After 6 months of dating and with the official "boyfriend-girlfriend" titles, we went to both Charlotte and Chattanooga (pictured) to meet both sides of the parents!

To celebrate finishing our second year of school, we headed off on a Matthew+Carly adventure to THAILAND!!! We became the best travel buddies and got to explore Bangkok, Chiang Mai (top picture), Phuket (bottom picture), and Koh Samui.

We spent our third year of school completing our clinical rotations in Florence, SC (we'll spare you the hospital pics) and spent our spare time traveling throughout the year, first stop - Kiawah Island, our favorite place to get away!

This was our first time camping together, and Carly’s first time camping period, in the Pisgah National Forest led by Mr. Eagle Scout himself!

More travels to New York City for some friends, food, and football!

The spring of our third year brings us back to Kiawah....for a picture of our happy and Carly’s, of course, teary-eyed self just moments after Matthew proposed this past spring!
