Chris and Carlys story starts at Rutgers University in 2016. They both lived on the banks of the old raritan in Hardenbergh Hall. Chriss dorm room was directly across the hall from Carlys-but Chris had a girlfriend and Carly had a boyfriend so their interactions were truly minimal. One fateful night Carly walked passed Chriss room and saw a group of guys getting ready to take shots. Why Carly agreed to join them-for no reason-is still in question.


After this first interaction, Carly felt more comfortable around her new neighbor. One night when she walked over to Chriss room with a costco sized bag of Guacamole and kindly offered it to Chris and his friends. From there on it was often said Carly has the guac and the only reason Chris and Carly spoke after they moved out of the dorms.


After small interactions on social media-Carly ran into Chris at a christmas party where she got too drunk and poured her heart out to Chris. She had told him she always had a crush on him and thought he was so handsome-and I am pretty sure she even told him she loved him although they had spoken all of 3 times. Did Chris say a word that night? Rumor has it he didnt.


But that had him thinking...


When Carly texted Chris the next day absolutely horrified about the word vomit she had spewed the night before, Chris had responded in a way that truly opened the doors for this acquaintanceship to become a friendship and eventually a relationship. The rest is history.
