Our story started in Destin, Florida. Connor was on a bachelor trip and I was on a bachelorette trip. Both groups ended up at the same bar one evening, and naturally began talking. Connor and I talked for several hours which led to us exchanging numbers by the end of the night. A few weeks later, Connor headed to Birmingham, AL to take me on our first date, which consisted of spending the afternoon at the Botanical Gardens and ending the day at a Futurebirds concert at Avondale Brewery.

A little over a year later, on September 14, 2024, Connor proposed at the same spot we shared our first date. We celebrated that night with all of our closest family and friends, which made the day even more special. We are counting down the days to leaving long distance in the past and starting our lives together in Birmingham, AL once we get married later this year!
