Picture two little kindergartners, Chris and I, each with our own quirks – he had adorable curly hair, and I sported a set of prominent buck teeth. Our story began there, in Mrs. Misoni's class, where we enjoyed days filled with finger painting and jungle gym adventures. Little did we know, destiny had a unique plan for us.

Our paths remained intertwined as we continued our education together at Newman Catholic, a journey that lasted until seventh grade when Chris started at Everest school district. Fast forward to our senior year of high school, when Chris sent me a DM with an invite to watch a movie. Our first ever date featured none other than "Django Unchained." I wish I could say Jamie Foxx was the catalyst for our love, but after a few more dates, we decided the timing wasn't quite right.

In the fall of 2015, both of us left our small hometown of Wausau to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and we navigated the early years of college life separately. Our paths didn't cross again until senior year. It was then that one of my closest friends and club tennis teammates, Annie McGrail, moved in with me and my college roommates. Annie and Chris had been good friends since freshman year, and with Annie's move, it was only natural that I spent more time with Chris.

After a few pregame gatherings with Annie and her friends, Chris and I began to grow closer. It wasn’t until Halloween 2018, after many of his friends hinted at his feelings for me, that I decided to take matters into my own hands by making the first move and complimenting his Scooby Doo costume. The rest, as they say, is history.

Later that year, after countless late-night study sessions, Chris and I graduated together, both with dreams of making our mark in the medical field. The following year was a whirlwind of applying and interviewing at various PA and medical schools. In the fall of 2020 we both started graduate programs in Milwaukee. Shortly after, we moved into our very first apartment together, and within the first month, Chris insisted on adding a furry member to our little family. We then adopted Walter, the absolute best boy in the world.

Fast forward to November 2022, when Chris got down on one knee and asked the most important question of our lives. Without a moment's hesitation, I knew that we were destined to spend our lives together.

Now, we eagerly await the next chapter of our journey as we commit our lives to each other on May 25th, 2024, surrounded by our closest friends and family. Here's to the incredible journey of love and a lifetime of cherished memories!
