On the CTA (public transit) in Chicago, Illinois.

Trevor was a few months removed from college, living with his mom (nice!). Carly was in her final year of college, also living with her mom (nice! x2).

It was a Chicago summer Saturday night. They each took the train into the city, headed for their date at the Chicago Athletic Association. ;)

The date went amazing! But on the trip home their paths diverged...

They had to take different trains home. Trevor wanted more time so he took the train with Carly. They were so lost in conversation that they missed Carly's stop :o

Carly decided to get off at the next one.

Though as she got off the train, Trevor saw a glint of fear in her eyes of having to get off a train alone, and at such a late hour, at a stop that wasn't hers. He leaped off the train after her! And without truly knowing it, into their lives together—forever.

A few dates later, they became official. And less than four months later, desperate to get out of their respective parents places, moved into a small apartment in Old Town together on New Year's Eve, 2021.

The two lived in Chicago for the better part of four years, growing together, and adding the first additions to their family...two cats named Poseidon and Zeus.

From there, the rest is history.

They now continue their collective adventure in Austin, Texas, and can't wait to celebrate their wedding with all of you, this summer.
