Present Day

On February 14th, 2021, we celebrated our one-year anniversary together. It happened to fall on the day before we left for vacation, so our dogs were dropped off and we took the day to spend together. We decided to get food from one of our favorite places, Raising Cane's. We also got our dessert pizookies from BJ's and drove to the Chick-fil-A in Mission Valley, where we spent a lot of time together having car-and-food-dates. We reminisced about the start of our relationship before going home to pack and leave for our vacation the next morning. With a very strong premonition about what was going to happen, we traveled to Washington to start the most memorable vacation we would ever experience. The day after we arrived, Forrest asked if we could go down to the dock. We ventured down and it was a beautiful day, with some brisk, light clouds in the sky and the sun out. Forrest, decided that it was the perfect time to get down on one knee and ask the oh-so-important question. Of course, I said yes! We were so elated, and now we're back home, planning the wedding of our dreams and so ecstatic to get married with our families present.
