James & Carly first met at North Arvada Middle school English class back in 2011. Where James took Carly on their first date to the infamous Arvada Harvest Festival. And Carly told James “I do not kiss on the first date.” As many middle school relationships do, it ended quickly.
Throughout the years, they drifted apart but reconnected during their freshman year of high school in 2015. Their bond grew stronger, and despite going to separate colleges for freshman and junior years, they made it work. Finally, they reunited in California where James graduated & moved back home to Colorado where in Christmas of 2025, they got engaged.
