All guests should fly into Josep Tarradellas Barcelona–El Prat Airport (BCN). Our home base for the wedding activities & where we recommend all guests to stay is a coastal town in Spain called Sitges.

Barcelona Airport has 2 terminals: Terminal 1 (T1) and Terminal 2 which has 3 separate buildings (T2A, T2B and T2C).

There are four options to get to Sitges from Josep Tarradellas Barcelona–El Prat Airport (BCN). You can either take a taxi, train, bus, or rent a car. When we get closer to our guests booking their flights, if we have multiple people taking the same flight, we can look into setting up a bus to escort everyone to Sitges.

There are taxi ranks at T1, in the arrivals zone (P0) and in the Barcelona-Madrid air corridor; and in T2, in front of T2A, T2B and T2C. A taxi from the airport to Sitges will cost approximately €70 (Approximately $76.00)

You will find car rental companies in both T1 and T2B. The access road to the airport (C-31 Barcelona-Castelldefels dual carriageway) connects with the road that takes you to Sitges (C-32 Barcelona-Sitges).

The train to Sitges is located across the street from T2B, so if you land at T1, you will need to take the free shuttle bus to T2 if you want to take the train. The train is not direct, you have to change once at the first stop which is El Prat de LLobregat. The first train leaves the airport at 06.00 (6AM) and the last train of the day leaves the airport at 22.59 (10:59PM). If you decide to take the train, an example of the transfer times is as follows:

Departure: 06.00

Transfer at El Prat de LLobregat: 06.05

Train to Sitges: 06.26

Arrival to Sitges: 06.51

The bus to Sitges departs from in front of terminal T1. If you land at T2, you will first need to take the free shuttle bus to T1. The journey time to Sitges is approximately 30 to 45 minutes depending on traffic and the time of day. The Bus leaves more or less every hour Monday-Friday from 07.40 (7:40 am) to 22.40 (10:40 PM). On Saturdays, the bus leaves every 2 hours from 08.40 (8:40 AM) to 22.40 (10:40PM). On Sundays, the bus leaves every 4 hours from 09.40 (9:40 AM) to 21.40 (9:40 PM).
