Our Wedding

It all started in June 2021 when two kids from the Chicago suburbs met through mutual friends while living out in Denver. They often laugh at how they had to move a thousand miles from home to find someone who grew up just 40 minutes away. It's no surprise they felt like home to each other from the start! What began as casual weekends together going on hikes and to Rockies games with friends quickly turned into a life full of adventures \u2014 from camping trips and playing hooky from work to ski Beaver Creek and Vail, to morning coffee walks and after-work sunset hikes, to road trips to Santa Fe and riding Lime scooters from our apartment to Mile High Stadium along the South Platte River for (yet another!) concert. On their 3 year anniversary (August 7, 2024), Sam &amp; Carly planned to re-live their first date by heading to Golden to hike Lubahn Trail to South Table Mountain followed by drinks at Buffalo Rose in Golden, CO. Little did Carly know, Sam was also planning on getting down on one knee... needless to say, Carly said YES! Later that month, they left the mountains behind and moved back to the Chicagoland area to be closer to both their families, and eventually added their beloved Aussie, Archie to the fam. Now, they're beyond thrilled to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by their favorite people. They cannot wait to bring everything full circle on their 5 year anniversary and say I do in the same mountains where they met and fell in love. They're ready to dance, laugh, and toast to love, adventure, and everything that brought them here.

On the big day, we’ve got you covered!Shuttles will run between the hotel blocks and our venue. An early loop will take guests back who are ready to call it a night, and later in the evening all shuttles will swing by the after-party at Ace-Hi Tavern in Golden before heading back to the hotels. Parking is available at the venue if you prefer to drive yourself, but we strongly encourage you to sit back and relax instead of facing the winding mountain roads yourself!

One of our favorite breweries in Golden! Lots of outdoor seating and usually have live music and food trucks.

Even if there's no time to catch a concert, Red Rocks is less than 20 minutes from Golden and you can either take a free tour or get tickets for Yoga on the Rocks on Saturday morning after the wedding!
