Like many modern love stories, we met online, in December 2023. A few short days later we went out on our first date where the butterflies insued. Each date after that we grew more and more inseparable. Getting to know one another on the deepest level. A level of acceptance, understanding, and grace, that drew us in deeper.

Flash forward to November 2024, THE PROPOSAL!

Jacob had long been planning the proposal and which ring was perfect for Carly. The original proposal date was supposed to be Nov. 1st during a photoshoot Jacob planned. However, the photographer got injured and wasn't able to do it that day. Jacob and Carly both freaked out a little due to this but Jacob played it cool, nonchalantly rescheduling the photoshoot and throwing Carly off the proposal trail.

The day came, and at the very end of the photo shoot, the photographer decided to have us climb down a rock cliff onto a waterfall. Needless to say, Carly in her heels struggled to maintain balance while holding her soon-to-be fiance's hand. The photographer had Carly walk away from Jacob, who let go of her hand and when Carly turned around Jacob was on his knee proposing to the love of his life. Carly didn't even let Jacob finish asking before she said "YES!" and the rest is history!
