Our Story

Things to Do

Kevin's the original BMX Bandit and his aliases include "pickles," "megs," "megaphone," "smalls," and "michael j. fox."  He's infamously known as member #000000000001 in the Guns N' Roses fanclub.  Upon meeting Axl Rose backstage one night, Kevin challenged him to a scream-off.  He impressed Axl so much, that he was invited to tour with the band as a background vocalist on several international tours.   Favoring a more discreet lifestyle as the years went by, Kevin left the band and with his newfound fortune, co-founded the podcast "Hey! Eaaaaaasy" with his former landlord, Babushka.

You may know David better as DGL: International Man of Leisure.  His penchant for relaxation forced his couch to take a vacation from HIM!  A conversation with David begs the age old question...would you rather be anywhere else in the world right now, or is this right where you belong?  #sorrynotsorry

David Guy Levy

Originally brought into this world as Jack Dumpfy, Ryan's penchant for whittling harmonicas from the barks of burnt oak trees forever solidified him as a bona fide troubadour.  You may have caught him streaking the bleachers of Wrigley Field while performing original honky-tonk Cubs theme music.  He was also Bill Pullman's stand-in from 2004-2010; they parted ways over a Spaceballs trivia disagreement and haven't spoken since.

Ryan Schiewe

A certified board game master, think of Doug as the Gandolf of our time, standing before your path to victory whilst conjuring wizardly spells.   His game is so good, we're actually in his very own computer simulation right now...Doug isn't even Doug...he's Hauser.  Despite the existentialism of it all, Doug still manages to insure his flowing hair for $1 million/year.

Leslie aka L-Dawg has been Carly’s sister since birth.  While they may have fought over usual sisterly things, they still managed to put their grievances aside to gossip about NKOTB and 90210.  Leslie introduced Carly to the Tooth Fairy and little did she know it would influence her career in the dental industry.  And that’s the tooth!

Ashely met Carly in Brooklyn during dental residency, and their fast friendship led them on an exotic adventure to Binghamton to continue their studies.  Few can match Ashley’s hand-standing prowess and gymnastic abilities.  Carly’s feeble attempts required several trips to the ER, which gave the two plenty of time to binge-watch Dawson's Creek while Carly was on the mend.  Years later, Ashley Dawson moved to the town where Dawson's Creek was filmed in North Carolina.  Coincidence??  Doubtful.  She still has her James Van Der Beek framed photo from 2001.

Tejan is another one of Carly's long-tenured dental school friends.  She's mastered the use of floss by applying it in many life situations such as opening doors when locking herself out of the car or house, and repelling from buildings to combat criminals.  In her "spare time," Tejan is a devoted mommy of two.  You can find she and her family basking in the Tampa sun - with nothing stuck between their teeth.

Marlene is one of Carly's longest known accomplices -- "partners in crime" is an understatement when these two are together.  Imagine two rambunctious teenagers on roller skates tearing up the Riverwalk in St. Pete.  No ice cream cone was safe when they were on the prowl - they'd snatch it from your grubby fingers before you even had a lick.  Marlene's care for others led to her role as a nurse; Carly's knack for acquiring many bumps and bruises made her the perfect guinea pig for Marlene's early training.  Originally from Costa Rica, Marlene is known in her hometown as the "Sloth Whisperer."

If you've ever popped into a tiny Beverly Hills cafe, you've likely bumped butts with Hilary while picking up a latte.  Prior to her west coast lifestyle, Hilary set the trend in NYC with Carly, bouncing from one rooftop bar to the next.  While soaking in a Soho jacuzzi bar poppin' bubbles with Jay Z, he dubbed her Hil Z for her nautical dance moves.  Prior to her NYC life, Hilary spent her youth in Canada where she originally aspired to be a Mountie.  Fear of horses led that dream astray rather quickly and the dental world seemed like the next obvious career path.
