Brandon and Carly both went to NAU for college, meeting in 2019. Carly was 21 and in her junior year, while Brandon was 28 and in his junior year. Brandon served in the United States Marine Corps for 5 years after high school before deciding to pursue his college degree - Semper Fi!

Carly and Brandon met through their mutual friend Jack (one of Brandon's groomsmen) in the fall of 2019. After being friends for about a year, Brandon asked Carly on a date. He had to do this not once, not twice, but THREE times because Carly kept turning him down. But hey, third time's the charm right??

Brandon made it official by asking Carly to be his girlfriend on August 29th, 2020. For the record, he only had to ask once!

They took their first trip together to Brandon's hometown in December of 2020. Brandon grew up in California near the Bay and surrounded by hills, very different than what Arizona has to offer! Carly met his friends and family for the first time, got to explore San Francisco, and went to a few wineries in Napa. Not a bad first trip together!

Hard work paid off in the spring of 2021 when both Carly and Brandon graduated with their Bachelor's degrees! They both got jobs in Phoenix, Carly decided to move back home and Brandon got his own place in Tempe. He was about to experience his first summer in Phoenix..... yikes!

After his first hot summer, Brandon and Carly celebrated with a trip to the Flagstaff Rodeo! They were accompanied by friends and got to visit their college town once again.

In January 2022 the couple visited Nashville as a Christmas gift to one another. They enjoyed country music, museums, and their first time flying together! They learned that they both like the window seat....

A few months later, Brandon's family took Carly to Disneyland for her very first time! It was a weekend of yummy food and fun rides, but don't forget to ask Carly how her first rollercoaster went!

They attended the wedding of Brandon's friend Sam and his wife Sarah where Brandon was able to give a speech to the new bride and groom. Roles are now reversed as Sam and Sarah attend this wedding, with Sam being a groomsman to Brandon!

After almost 2 years, Carly and Brandon moved into their first apartment together! They have made the place their own and are enjoying exploring new spots in Chandler, AZ.

In 2022 they started their annual summer trip with friends where they all took a vacation to San Diego. The trip was filled with good company, great food, and wonderful memories!

In Spring of 2023, Carly's family took Brandon to Indian Wells for the first time. He got to see some of his favorite players up close, and got to witness how tennis-crazed the Stouffer family is!

They got to visit Flagstaff again in May of 2023 when everyone went up to celebrate Carly's brother Justin graduating from NAU. Cool weather and cabin time was much needed for everyone!

The 2nd annual summer trip was one for the books with Brandon proposing on the beach in front of all their close friends. Carly was completely surprised - it was a perfect start to the weekend.

Carly and Brandon are so excited to see what the future has in store and are so grateful to be able to celebrate with their closest friends and family!
