Our Wedding

Like most of history’s greatest love stories, we met on an app. Carly got a parking ticket on our first date, a good omen! On the second date, we were displayed on the big screen at a baseball game and won a romantic getaway. It wasn’t awkward at all!We bonded over kayak trips on the river and deciding on multiple occasions it was a good idea to walk downtown from Carly’s Davis house in the summer (it was not a good idea). Nick tricked Carly into watching motocross every weekend, and Carly tricked Nick into keeping up with The Bachelor. Next thing we knew, Carly picked up biking and Nick picked up running. Now that’s love, folks!In the summer of 2024, we bought our first house together in Grass Valley. We got engaged on September 22nd on the West Rim trail in Zion National Park, on a road trip with Nick’s family. We are so excited to celebrate our love with you all in Bridgeport, the town Carly’s family visits every year (and where Nick met her parents for the first time!). Anywhere you stay in the town of Bridgeport is within walking distance of the venue (woo hoo!) While there are multiple hotels in Bridgeport, they are all fairly small. Summer is a popular time to visit Bridgeport. Book early to ensure you get a room! There are lots of camping options in the area too! The venue has ample space for cars and allows parking overnight (must be gone by 10:00 am Sunday morning).
