Our Wedding

Carly and Matt met in the Winter of 2019 at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. They were introduced through a mutual friend in Matt’s Fraternity and it didn't take long before Carly took the first step and asked for Matt’s number. Good thing someone had the guts ;) Soon after, they had their first date at a local Madison favorite, Hopcat. After their first date, they continued to enjoy watching movies, getting ice cream, and spending time around Madison. In Spring of 2019, they attended Matt's spring fraternity formal together in Milwaukee. In June of 2019, Matt finally asked Carly to be his Girlfriend. For the past 6 years, they have supported each other through major life events and long-distance love. Between living in different states for almost two years, the completion of two Master’s programs, and the purchase of a new home, Matt and Carly have proven their devotion to each other! In April of 2023, Carly and Matt also welcomed home their mini-Dachshund, Pinto Bean. They have enjoyed skiing together with friends, cabin weekends, keeping up with owning a home, and following the lead of a stubborn sausage dog. On April 13th, 2024, after much anticipation, Matt asked Carly to marry him! The two are overjoyed to be preparing to spend the rest of their lives together and can't wait to be joined in matrimony with their loved ones surrounding them on October 18, 2025!
