Carly and Cody first met in college at a house party. It wasn’t quite love at first sight… but it was pretty close. Life took them in different directions for a little while, but about a year later Cody heard that Carly had just come out of a long-term relationship. Seeing his chance, he made a bold and strategic move: sending pictures of kittens to help mend a broken heart.

After months of persistent (and very effective) courting, Cody finally earned her hand, and on December 27th, 2020, they officially became a couple.

Since then, they’ve built a life filled with laughter, adventure, and plenty of shared memories. Now they’re getting ready to begin their biggest adventure yet—choosing each other, every day, for the rest of their lives. Or, as the traditional phrasing goes, “until death do us part,” which is really just a romantic way of saying forever.
