Garrett and Angelina met through their mutual friend Maddie. After attending Garrett's hometown football game, they instantly clicked. Garrett and Angelina went on their first date on September 26th, 2019 and are getting married on their anniversary date. The couple spent every weekend together since until March of 2020 when COVID-19 hit.Angelina had to move back home to Houston where the couple spent the next year and a half long distance. Although miles apart, the couple Facetimed almost every night, and met up at each others homes once a month. During this time, Garrett spent more time with Angelina's family during their week long meetups and became closer to the Martinez family, joining in game nights with the siblings and meeting Angelina's nephews. Angelina has also grown closer to Garrett's twin sisters and his mom by enjoying game nights. The Lyssy House has become Angelina’s home away from home, she even has her own key! Angelina has also spent many days/evening with Garrett and his dad on their land in Fall City along with the occasional dinners on the weekends as a family. In July 2021, Angelina moved back to San Marcos and the couple again spent almost every weekend with each other. Garrett graduated in December 2021 at UTSA, Angelina Graduated in December 2022 at Texas State. Finally, after five years of traveling back and forth, Garrett and Angelina moved in together in September 2024 with their elder dog, Shana, and new cat, Missy. The couple shares a love of TV/Movie watching, animals, and spending time with friends. Garrett proposed under a beautiful oak tree at the same park the couple had their first date! Thanks for being a part of the celebration of this beautiful couple!

Ella is one of Angelina's best friends and former roommate. They both attend Texas State University pursuing their Masters! Ella and Ang met through a mutual friend of Garrett's and have been friends ever since! She even helped Garrett propose!

Before you ask, they aren't twins! Annalise is Angelina's younger but taller sister. Despite their age gap and distance the sisters have remained close and share many laughs together. Garrett and Annalise love to be competitive on game nights.

Maddie was Angelina's first friend in college, they met on week 1 and have been besties since! Maddie also introduced the couple and is the reason we are all here. Maddie has been a loyal friend to both Garrett and Angelina.

Olivia and Angelina met at Copper Beech but have been best friends since! Despite not meeting until 2023, Olivia and Angelina have so much in common including hometowns, professional interest, and even similar looking houses!

Bella was roommates with Angelina and Ella and worked with them for a bit! Not only did Angelina strike gold with roommates but Bella is also one of her bestfriends! Even after moving out the girls still remained close!

Garrett's best friend since they were babies! Garrett's Grandma Paula used to babysit the boys together and Garrett was in Andrew's wedding in 2022!

Kamden and Garrett met through ACTS in highschool and have been friends ever since. Kamden helped Garrett propose!

Ryan and Garrett have been friends since junior high. Whether it shooting doves or hanging out with the boys, Garrett and Ryan have a good time.

Alex and Garrett have been friends since they first met at a church group while at UTSA. Fun Fact: Alex and Garrett went on a spring break trip to South Padre and spent a total of 30 minutes at the beach!

Jarrett has been friends with Garrett since their little league days playing basketball. They were roommates in college and even then some after they both graduated!

Trace and Garrett have been friends since he transferred from Karnes City to Falls City in elementary. Trace and Garrett spent lots of time hunting and fishing with hardly anything to show for.

The closest airport to our venue is the Austin-Bergstrom Airport in Austin, Texas. Since our wedding begins in the early afternoon of 09/26, we suggest flying in by 09/25.
