Our Wedding

North Middle High School. The place to be in 2014. Carmen is originally from Columbia, SC but moved to Orangeburg in 2012. She started going to North in 8th grade (homeschooled for 7th). Jesse grew up in North. In 8th grade we had 4 classes together: Math, English, History, and Science. We never really noticed each other until after Christmas break. Ater Christmas break, Carmen got his number and they started texting here and there but nothing really memorable. That is until, Spring Break. Spring Break of 2014 started on April 11th. Everyone was super excited and not really doing any work that whole day it was mostly just a day for everyone to take pictures. In science class Carmen and Jesse had a little inside joke where they made their hands look like spiders (ew, cringe). So, after school Carmen had to go to Dollar General and something told her to text Jesse so she did. She texted him something like hand spider 😂. Jesse responded. Jesse: Who is this? Carmen: You dont know who this is? Jesse: No Carmen: 😒 Its Carmen (Dont worry, it gets better) All day Carmen and Jesse were texting and being the savage that Jesse is, he said we should play 21 questions. Carmen said ok. Carmen had to go first, her brother was her wing man telling her everything she should ask. One of her last questions was so stupid (I still cringe about it) was Do you have a trampoline? (CAN YOU NOT READ THE ROOM!?!?!). Jesses next. My brother tells me that guys do this where the girl goes first so the guy can go second to ask the girl out at the end. No way. I didnt believe him. He asks all his questions, and his last question of course is Who do you like at our school? He got me. My heart was pounding, Im sitting in the corner of my room what do I say? Should I tell him I like him. DUH my brother tells me. This is your chance; youve liked him for so long. Okay. Jesse: sooooo do you have something to tell me I wanted you to tell me lol Carmen: Ummmm..... I like you lol :) Jesse: thank you...... I like you too Carmen, anything else lol Carmen: Lol youre welcome Jesse. Anything you wanna say to me??? Lol Jesse: Im going to ask you this do you think we should go out ?? Thats awkward but lol:) Carmen: Sure :) Id love to :D &lt;3 And at 10:45pm that April 11th night, Carmen and Jesse were official.

Our Story

Carmen's Maid of Honor and has been her best friend for over 9 years. They met in high school and bonded over One Direction and the rest is history :)

Destiny

Carmen's bridesmaid Miracle (the passenger princess) has been her best work friend for almost 3 years and has always been there for her whenever she needed someone to talk to.

Carmen's bridesmaid Sophia is also one of her best work friends. Her, Carmen, and Miracle always go out to Columbia or Charleston whenever they have a day off together (which is rare but it does happen)

Carmen's bridesmaid Viola is pretty obvious as she is her sister so her HAD to pick her but she wouldn't want it any other way!

Carmen's last but not least bridesmaid is Carly which is Jesse's Best Man's sister. Carmen wanted to feel like Blane was included in the wedding as much as possible and what better way to celebrate Blane to have his brother and sister be a part of the wedding party!

Jesse's Best Man Blane is Jesse's best friend. They met when they were 5 years old and became best friends at 7. Sadly, Blane passed away in 2021, but we still wanted him in our wedding. To honor him, we are going to put up a table beside Jesse at the alter with a picture of Blane that way he can still be with us on our big day.

Blane Hall

Jesse and Jacob have been friends for about 12 years and tells him pretty much everything. Having him up there was without a doubt the easiest choice for Jesse.

Trey is Blane’s brother so honorably, he had to be up there as well, but not only for that reason. Jesse held Trey when he was born and has watched him grow into the man he is today and he wouldn’t want anyone else to stand up there with him on his big day.

Besides Blane, Cliff is one of Jesse's best friends. Cliff, Jesse and Blane grew up together and did everything together.

Carmen's little brother is probably more obsessed with Jesse more than anyone we know. Of course he has to stand up there with Jesse.

Logan is Jesse’s nephew, he’s the closest thing he’s ever had to a little brother.

Cocktail/Social Hour

Cocktail/Social hour begins at 5 P.M. The wedding party will be taking photos during this time

Grand Entrance 

Wedding party grand entrance will be at 6 P.M. Have your cameras ready!

First Dance

First Dance will begin immediately after the entrance, Father/daughter and mother/son dances will follow after as well as a special dance with grandfather/granddaughter.

Toasts and BBQ

Toasts and dinner will begin at 6:30 P.M. Enjoy foods and drinks the bride and groom love. Ending dinner with the cake cutting and desserts! Photos with our guests will also be done during this time as well as in Dancing.

Dancing

Let the night begin with some good music and fun dancing! Dancing will start around 7 P.M.

Send off

With the celebration coming to an end, lets send off the newly weds off to their new life with one last goodbye and some bubbles!
