Growing up on opposite sides of Pennsylvania, it only makes sense that Carmen and Noah would begin their journey together right in the middle of the state, where they met at Penn State University in 2019. You might wonder how a Pittsburgh fan and a Philadelphia fan could end up together - let's just say that they quickly learned to build a relationship based on compromise and respect (as long as the Steelers and Eagles aren't playing each other that week).
After 4 years of calling Happy Valley home (filled with many football games, arboretum hikes, concerts, and trips down College Ave. on a Friday or Saturday night), Carmen and Noah lived in Reading, PA for 2 years and are now loving their new place in Wilmington, DE! Over the past 6 years, they have explored 23 states, 1 foreign country, and 1 U.S. territory together (with many Delaware beach trips in between). With their shared love of travel, adventure, and nature, it was meant to be that they got engaged on a camping trip in Cherry Springs State Park.
Ever since Carmen was young, she had dreamed of celebrating her wedding at the "View-tiful" Veltri's Restaurant built by her grandparents in 1972. Although the ownership (and ironically, the spelling) has changed, the venue still holds 30 years of unforgettable family history. Carmen and Noah could not be more excited to create even more memories in this special place with all of their favorite people!
