Nick and Carol met in a way that’s quite typical these days: Bumble. Carol quickly fell into Nick’s trap of a claim of being a “Proud cat dad” on his profile, but she had to message him and scold him for making that claim without any pictures of said cat. Just like that, he got her. From there, the couple found themselves going on dates almost weekly - from coffee dates, to a zoo date, and to a traveling Broadway performance of Hadestown. In a little less than a month, they made their relationship official. During their time together, it truly didn’t take long for the pair to realize they didn’t want to be without the other. By the end of the year, rings were already heavily discussed. Come the following April, about a year since they matched, the couple moved in together with their cats in Grafton. They were able to quickly adapt to life together and soon knew, without a shadow of a doubt, they wanted to do life together forever. Nick quickly purchased Carol’s ring and began taunting her with the possibility of a proposal (he got SO much joy from holding that information from her!). Nick made a plan that combined two of Carol’s favorite things for the proposal: Christmastime and the Zoo. His original plan to propose in the aquarium went awry due to everyone avoiding the negative twelve degree weather outside. When Carol asked if he wanted to go to the spot where she fell and landed on her knee, he agreed to her shock. He shocked her again by getting down on his knee in the same spot. All of this leads us to where we are now! Planning our wedding and the rest of our lives together. We can’t wait to share our special day with all the people we love so dearly.
