Some love stories are written in the stars… ours was planted in the heart many years ago, in Ecuador.

Christian was just 12 years old when he first laid eyes on Carol, who was 9 at the time. He remembers it like it was yesterday—the feeling of seeing her was amazing, It was more than beauty; it was something that stirred his soul, something he couldn’t explain, but never forgot.

Not long after, Christian moved to Guayaquil to live with his father, a different city from where Carol lived. Through the years, they would occasionally see each other in the same social circles, but Christian—being the quiet and shy boy he was—never found the courage to approach. He knew he would always return to his father’s house, and perhaps, in his heart, feared the goodbye.

Life took them on different paths. Each built their own families and were blessed with beautiful children. But life has a mysterious way of bringing hearts back together—especially when the time is just right.

Years later, their paths crossed again. This time, something was different. What began as long conversations and hours of heartfelt messages slowly turned into something neither expected but both deeply needed. It took months before they saw each other in person, but their hearts had already found a rhythm, a long-distance love story blossoming with patience, trust, and faith.

Now, they’ve made a decision that reflects everything their journey has taught them: to commit their lives to God and to each other.
