Are kids allowed?

Yes! There will be kid-friendly wedding activities for them to enjoy as well, and a quieter space if anybody becomes overstimulated. Please note that after 9 PM the DJ will be playing explicit songs and taking requests.

My kid isn't included in the invitation?

If your child is the age of 2 or younger, they will not be formally included in the guest list but are still MORE THAN WELCOME to attend!

Why so many save the dates?

Many of our loved ones are in the medical field or the military, and require advance notice to request time off

Are we getting official mailed invitations?

Yes! They will be sent out in July. You can RSVP with your save the date or your official invitation in July.

When is the deadline to RSVP?

September 21st, 2026.

How do I RSVP?

Please navigate to the RSVP tab, find your name (search with first and last name, phone number, address, etc). Indicate any dietary restrictions here.

My name isn't showing up in the RSVP?

Try again the next day (Carol is manually entering names and numbers), or text Kyle/Carol to let them know this issue is happening

What is the dress code?

Semi-formal, black tie optional. No need to wear traditional Vietnamese clothing. If you are interested in sourcing Vietnamese clothing, reach out to Carol.

How do I sign up for karaoke?

Click on the "karaoke" tab. There are 8 slots to register, and 2 wildcard slots. Please understand that once you sign up, you are committing to singing that song. If you get some jitters, Kyle or Carol will sing with you!

Is there alcohol?

Yes, but only wine & beer. Non-alcoholic options are available.

What kind of food will be served?

Both Vietnamese and New American food will be served at the wedding buffet style. Vegetarian options will be available; if you are vegan or have food allergies please tell us in your RSVP

What about your wedding party?

No wedding party here, just partying at the wedding! We have decided to not have traditional bridesmaids and groomsmen. We wanted to celebrate with as many people as possible without cost as a limiting factor. There is no responsibility for buying dresses, renting shoes, going to rehearsal, coordinating/planning things, etc.

Are Loaf & Butter coming to the wedding?

Unfortunately they will not physically be in attendance, but they will show up in other ways throughout the festivities!

Is the tea ceremony for everybody?

Yes! Please plan to be present for both the tea ceremony, and the traditional American ceremony afterwards.
