March 5th, 2020, I was browsing through Bumble and came across Michael's profile. He didn't have much info on there other than a few pictures. I didn't know what I was getting myself into but he looked harmless and I took a chance and sent him a friendly short message. Less than an hour later he responded and from there we started talking everyday. Covid hit shortly after and the world shut down. We decided to wait to meet until it was "safe" not knowing we would have to wait a whole year.

March 22,2021 , Finally after waiting a year when the pandemic started to get a little controlled we decided to meet up. We had talked literarily every day with the exception of 3 days while I was sick. I was still nervous but he made me feel at ease and we enjoyed our first date at Dave and Busters.

December 25,2022, I was hosting Christmas brunch at my house with all my family and Michael's mom, sister and nephews. We had just finished praying before we ate and Michael announced that he wanted to say something before we started eating. He got down on one knee and asked if I would marry him. I of course said yes! We left after brunch to spend a few days in a cabin and celebrate our engagement. It was an amazing trip and by far our favorite adventure!

We would like to thank our families for all their support and welcoming us to each others families. We would like to thank our friends for the outpouring of love they have shown us and we look forward to celebrating our big day with friends and family!
