On Dalton's first day at Kroger, he bumped into Maddie, a high school acquaintance and her best friend, Carolina. This is the moment where it seems it all began. As time went on, Dalton and Carolina were able to get to know each other, there was something there but they just couldn't see it. With many of their mutual friends playing matchmakers. After about a years worth of lunches together; Dalton asked Carolina out for coffee. They met at their local coffee shop, where at the end of the day Dalton asked Carolina out on a Date, her answer a solid Maybe while driving away. Confused Dalton later got her actual answer a definite Yes.


After their first date going to see Deadpool 2, they walked around Southlake Town Square, talking and laughing, enjoying each other's company. Soon after that date on May 31st, they decided to become boyfriend and girlfriend. Since then they have been on one of the greatest journey's of their lives. Carolina was able to see the beauty of Destin, Florida where she relaxed on the emerald green beaches, later they went to Oregon where she met Dalton's extended family. Dalton got to see many new places; he went to Carrolton where he found the best Asian restaurants in town, visited King Spa to relax for hours away from technology, and traveled on a cruise where he would ask Carolina the biggest question yet.


On the cruise after 5 years on this epic adventure, it was time to bring it to an end, so that the next chapter could begin. On May 15, 2023, everything was going according to plan, with reservations for dinner, formal night taking place on the cruise, as well as getting photos taking at the dinner table, Dalton asked Carolina for her hand in Marriage, which she exclaimed YES!!!. With a round of applause from the guests in the restaurant we took each other hand in hand and left to begin our next adventure.
