Carolina and Aaron’s story started long before they ever saw each other with love in their eyes. Eleven years ago their friendship began in a kitchen at a small burrito joint. They were young and passed their time with silly pranks, lots of laughs and some busy hectic nights. They were friends until they moved on from the burrito joint and continued through their separate paths. Social media kept them connected enough to keep up with each other’s life but just enough so their friendship didn’t wither away. They would make plans to hang out but they would fall through and even when they bumped into each other it was always just passing by. Aaron graduated, continued to grow in his aviation career, and built many friendships along the way. Carolina continued with her studies, working, and even became a mother to a boy named Rey. Both went through heart breaks and experiences which would make them the very person they needed to be when they rekindled their friendship again. Finally one day they made plans to meet once more and this time they went through with a wonderful conversation that lasted longer than either thought it would. Carolina was impressed by how much Aaron had grown, he wasn’t the little careless Aaron she once knew, and he was fascinated by her dedication to strive and succeed in life. She no longer wanted to just get by but to overcome it and do so much more. She always wanted to attend the Renaissance Festival and so they made plans to attend the fairgrounds together, in 2019, and fell in love in that magical weird place. They didn’t know it at the time but this would be a yearly tradition for them. Their love for each other grew and 4 years later they got engaged at the same magical garden they first walked through. Today, years later they have accomplished so much together and achieved many goals and overcome many obstacles. They have built a beautiful life with two cute little dogs and a mischievous loving growing boy.
Love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. As love grows older, our hearts mature and our love becomes as coals, deep-burning and unquenchable.
