Our Wedding

Cody was stationed in South Carolina with the Marines when he met Carolina. Three months flew by, and when it came time for Cody to make his next move, he chose Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, saying, “If it’s going to work out with you, it’s not going to work out in Japan.” They spent the next three years driving every other weekend to see each other. Eventually, they made the leap and moved to Philadelphia to build their lives together. In Charleston, Cody got down on one knee, and now they’re overjoyed to celebrate their wedding in the city where it all began. See you there!

Is there a dress code? Yes, our wedding is black tie encouraged. Women are asked to wear floor length or tea length gowns. Men are encouraged to wear tuxedos or a dark colored suit. The ceremony, and bulk of the reception, will take place outside. I have a food allergy - Can I make a special request?Absolutely! When the time comes to RSVP (next fall), please denote any allergies or dietary restrictions on your response card, and we will accommodate your needs with the culinary team.&nbsp; Will transportation be provided? Our venue is centrally located right on King Street so an easy walk from several nearby hotels (including the Francis Marion). Should you choose to stay elsewhere in the city, we encourage you to take an Uber, or pedicab, as no onsite parking is available.
