We recommend flying direcly to Florence Airport (FLR). If you decide to rent a car keep in mind that often in historic city centres, cars without a special permit are not allowed. Keep an eye out for ZTL or CCTV.

By Train.

You can take the PISAMOVER train from the airport to Pisa Centrale Train Station (5-minute ride), and then take the regional train to Firenze Santa Maria Novella Train Station (1 hour 15 minutes – ride).
