Our story began at Western Kentucky Youth Camp, a place that has always been special to both of us. In the summer of 2023, Eli asked Caroline to go to Mad Myrtles—through a karaoke version of Love Story by Taylor Swift, no less—and from that moment on, we’ve been inseparable.

Since then, we’ve shared so many adventures together, from beach trips to exploring Washington, D.C., and experiencing the magic of Disney World. This past summer, we even got to intern together at WKYC, making even more memories at the place where it all began.

On March 19, 2025—Caroline’s 22nd birthday—Eli proposed under the gazebo at WKYC, bringing our story full circle. Now, we’re excited to return there this December to say “I do” and celebrate with the people we love most.
