QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Are children invited?
Although we adore your children, we have decided to make our big day an adults-only event, with the exception of Aaron's niece and nephews who will play a role in the ceremony. We appreciate your understanding in our decision, and hope you are still able to celebrate with us!
What is the attire for the wedding?
The attire is semi-formal. For women, we suggest a sophisticated midi or flowy maxi dress, pantsuit or jumpsuit with heels, strappy sandals or dressy flats. For men, we suggest matching a suit jacket or a blazer with a nice button down shirt, dress pants and either dressy loafers, oxfords or lace-up shoes. Please refrain from wearing jeans as well as the colors white, cream or ivory.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors. However, the venue does have outdoor areas, such as a side patio, guests can enjoy throughout the evening.
What is Spring weather like in Texas?
Anyone who knows Texas knows that the weather can change almost instantly. Please plan for warm temperatures with the possibility of rain.
Will transportation be provided to guests?
Unfortunately, we will not have transportation for all guests, as it will only be provided for the wedding party. Therefore, please plan accordingly and try to carpool or use ride share services (i.e., Uber, Lyft) if you do not want to drive yourself.
Does the venue have parking?
Yes, the venue has plenty of free on-site parking should you choose to drive.
What is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by April 1st, 2024. We will be collecting RSVPs through our wedding website.
Do all guests receive plus ones?
We have decided to keep this wedding limited to close family and friends. Please only bring a plus one if one was designated on your invite. There will not be seating or meals for uninvited guests.
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
We respectfully request an unplugged ceremony and ask for all guests to refrain from taking photos or using phones during the ceremony.
Will food and drinks be served during the reception?
Yes! We definitely want to make sure our guests have plenty of energy to dance the night away. A variety of food options will be served buffet style, and an open bar consisting of beer, wine, liquor and non-alcoholic options will be available at no cost.
Where can people stay?
We encourage guests to stay in Frisco, TX and have shared different Frisco hotel accommodations under the "Places to Stay" tab. However, guests are more than welcome to stay wherever they feel most comfortable.
When should I book my hotel reservation?
The sooner, the better! The recommended hotels are down the street from The Star, which houses the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters and practice facility in Frisco, TX. Therefore, the hotels book up quickly. We encourage everyone to book their hotel rooms as soon as they are able to do so.
Do the recommended hotels have parking?
Yes! For the AC and Canopy hotels, there is free street parking out front as well as two paid options: a valet service and a parking garage. The parking rates are subject to change. At the moment the rates are $25 per night for valet and $22 per night for self-parking in the garage. There is also an electric car charging station. For Hotel Indigo, there is free parking in their parking lot attached to the hotel.
