Our Wedding

Our story goes as far back as second grade, when we were in the same class at Briarwood. Trey and I lived parallel lives through elementary, middle and high school. We even went on to both attend Auburn University, all the while never connecting as so much as friends. After college, I moved back to Birmingham while Trey moved to Marietta. We both remained connected to Auburn, and that is eventually what drew us together. I never knew that when I was going to my college friends' reunion tailgate in November of 2022 that I would meet the love of my life. Trey and I "met" that day to the sound of SEC football tailgating. I asked for a Briarwood picture and the next day as I went to post it on Facebook, I realized we weren't even Facebook friends. After that friend request, the rest was history. It's kind of amazing that you can have so many connections with someone, have lived such similar lives, but have to start from square one in getting to know them. From the start, I could tell that Trey was different. He was absolutely everything I never knew I could have and more. We become irreplaceable parts of each other's lives and we both quickly knew that we had finally met our person. We are so privileged now to live in the same city and get to celebrate our story with all of our friends and family.

A straight shot walking trail with amazing views of downtown Birmingham!

Kiwanis Vulcan Trail

Several of Stent (plus Caroline and Trey’s) favorites are located here; La Paz, Taco Mama, Otey’s, Church Street coffee.

Crestline Village 

A fusion between Mexican food and American food- plus really good margs!

An awesome place to visit Saturday morning before the wedding festivities! The farmers market is open every Saturday from 7am-12pm. Tons of local vendors with farm fresh produce, meats, veggies as well as other craft makers. Grab a to go coffee from Red Cat and peruse the tents!

The Market At Pepper Place 

Stent’s favorite place to grab a beer and if he’s lucky and the dog food truck is there- a doggie ice cream!

Avondale Brewing Company 

Another favorite brewery with tons of space for games, activities and indoor/outdoor seating!
