Our journey began one Fall evening at a Friendsgiving in the heart of New York City 9 years ago. Caroline and Lauren, her friend from high school, took on the role of cooking a Thanksgiving feast for the very first time. However, their ambitious plans hit a snag when they realized that the turkey was frozen solid! Determined to make the best of the situation, they rallied together and attempted to thaw the turkey as quickly as possible. But they overlooked a crucial detail - the giblet bag nestled inside the frozen bird! Now, enter Michael - unsuspecting, hungry and eagerly anticipating a taste of Thanksgiving dinner. As he took that first bite, there may have been a moment of apprehension, but luckily, the turkey turned out to be edible. It was at this cozy gathering where Caroline and Michael's paths first crossed, sparking a connection that felt like fate's gentle nudge.

A few months later, they reconnected at Lauren’s birthday at Tropical 128. Their dance moves might have been clumsy, but their connection was undeniable. Following their reunion, Michael and Caroline went on a series of memorable dates, each one deepening their bond. When Michael took Caroline to “Up Thai” for their first dinner date, he had no idea that pad thai was her favorite dish. Returning home with full bellies and hearts, Michael took a leap of faith and asked Caroline to be his girlfriend.

Flash forward a few years later during the Pandemic, Caroline was living in Jersey City working as a Paramedic and Michael living and working in New York City. Over the course of many months apart, they both learned the true value of their relationship. The challenges they faced only reinforced their love and appreciation for each other. Michael admired Caroline's selflessness and bravery in her role as a frontline worker, and Caroline found solace in Michael's unwavering support and understanding. When they were reunited after those long months, they felt even stronger than before. They cherished every moment spent together, realizing how precious their time was.

Now the happy couple resides in Hoboken where they have shared countless adventures, laughter-filled nights and memories together. From frozen turkeys to pandemic-driven months apart, they face each hurdle as a team, knowing that together they can conquer anything. As they prepare to say "I do" and embark on this new chapter of their lives, they couldn't be more grateful for the twists and turns that brought them to this moment. They can't wait to celebrate with all of you as they begin their journey as husband and wife.
