We first met in middle school, where we quickly became friends. Caroline went to as many Sandy Plains Prowlers baseball games as she could. By 7th grade, we were officially dating, not really knowing where life would take us, but feeling certain we wanted to be together. We spent the early years navigating school, friendships, and growing up, always side by side.

As we grew up, we faced all the usual milestones—high school, graduations, a long-distance relationship in college, and the excitement of young adulthood—but what really defined us was the way we supported each other through everything. Being apart only made us realize how much we meant to each other, and when we were finally back together, it felt like home.

In March of 2024, after more than a decade together, Alex proposed in the most memorable way—surprising Caroline with a day that was perfectly "us." On June 14, 2025, we’re so excited to take the next step and marry the person we’ve shared so much of our lives with.
