Things to Do

A Few of our Favorite Restaurants

The Rosecomb

Great spot for cocktails or food nestled in a cottage in the North Shore

Oddstory

Family friendly brewery with a large outdoor space

2nd American Restaurant

Modern upscale American fare. Best mashed potatoes in the city.

Calliope

Our annual anniversary dinner. Make sure you get the whipped feta with honey and pita.

Main Street Meats

Small space that serves a great steak. Come early, or go for lunch!

Old Man Rivers

A recent addition to the food scene here, the menu changes frequently but everything is delicious.

Clumpies Ice Cream

Our favorite local ice cream. Ryan usually gets vanilla, while Caroline goes with one of the seasonal featured creations.

Tremont Tavern

Our friendly neighborhood bar. We enjoy walking down the hill from our house for dinner and a drink. Walking back up after - not so much.

Basecamp

Easy, casual dining with a great river view on their outdoor deck. Kids and dogs welcome.

River Street Deli

The closest Chattanooga has to a New York deli experience.

Keystone

Takeout-only option to grab a breakfast burrito or sandwich and walk along the river.

Southern Squeeze

Vegetarian cafe with huge variety of salads and smoothies.

Elsie's Daughter

Beautiful indoor/outdoor restaurant perfect for a good meal or a few drinks and appetizers with friends.

It's the Scenic City for a reason. Lookout Mountain to the south and Signal Mountain to the north provide great trails for hiking, running, and biking.
