It all started on a little app called Hinge! Caroline and Tim matched with each other but took months to finally meet. Until one day, Tim sent her a message saying, "I'm sure I missed the boat on this, but would you like to get a drink sometime?" Caroline said yes and they settled on meeting at K2 Brothers Brewery, on May 21st, 2022. In traditional fashion, Tim arrived 15 minutes early and Caroline arrived a few minutes late.

They discussed their occupations, hobbies, life goals, Caroline's love for sour beers and corn hole, and Tim's love for animals and live music. Tim learned about Caroline's passion for helping people working as a social worker. While Tim tried to explain his job working in the defense industry as a sales rep.

The date was cut short as Caroline was meeting with coworkers to go bowling. Tim had said to her "If this date isn't going well you don't need to make excuses I won't be offended." She laughed and said, "No really, I'm going bowling! This has been fun." They agreed to see each other again. After they got into their cars to drive off, Tim began to put money aside to begin saving for an engagement ring. It was the best first date they've ever had, and the rest is history.
