Caroline and Don met in the summer of 2020. Caroline was living in Atlanta, and Don had moved back from Arkansas for an unspecified amount of time during the pandemic.

They spent time patiently getting to know one another, with time in between outings filled with phone conversation. Their first several dates on the move and outside - walking the Atlanta belt line, horseback riding, and kayaking the Chattahoochee. Things haven’t really changed since - with their relationship growing patiently while the two stayed on the move.

Shared love for the outdoors continued to be a theme, with the couple’s most important conversations tending to take place on a mountain, a trail, or just a neighborhood walk.

Over the years, distance, and back-and-forth travel, Caroline and Don fell deeply in love and began to plan their future.

Befitting of the time spent together, Don and Caroline had their most important conversation yet outside and on the move! Don and Caroline got engaged on a morning walk on Wrightsville Beach during Easter weekend, with their families nearby.

They look forward to celebrating in November with their friends and family.
