Oceanside is great for multiple travel options! We appreciate how far many of our guests will be traveling to come celebrate with us in Southern California...we want to make sure you understand all of your travel options and have easy logistics in and out of Southern California.

Oceanside is:

- 35-45 min drive north of the SAN DIEGO AIRPORT (SAN)

- 45-50 min drive south of the JOHN WAYNE (Anaheim, Orange County) AIRPORT (SNA)

- About 1.5 hour drive south of LOS ANGELES AIRPORT (LAX)

Below is travel information and recommendations based on which airport you choose to fly into:

AMTRAK PACIFIC SURFLINER

The Amtrak Pacific Surfliner is an incredible option to take to Oceanside from any direction (Los Angeles, Anaheim, or downtown San Diego)!

SAN DIEGO (SAN) AIRPORT

1. Flying into SAN DIEGO AIRPORT (SAN) < recommended option!

- Can take an Uber, Lyft or a cab up north to Oceanside. A cab will average $150 one way, Lyft & Uber average $45 to $100 one way. There are also private car companies you can book ahead of time.

- can rent a car and drive up to Oceanside -- once you're in Oceanside, almost everything is walkable or bike-friendly! The electric shuttles can take you anywhere around our town so you may not need a car once you arrive in Oceanside but if you'd like the flexibility to have a car to get around and explore other areas of San Diego, renting a car could be a great cost-effective option!

- There is a free shuttle at the San Diego Airport, "San Diego Flyer" that will take you to the Old Town Train Station. You can then take the COASTER train or the AMTRAK PACIFIC SURFLINER trains up north which will drop you off right in downtown Oceanside!
