Our Wedding

Our Story

On April 2, 2023 we were married in Forest Hill Park in Richmond, VA at a private wedding ceremony. It was a beautiful and meaningful day. Afterwards, we celebrated with our immediate families at Laura Lee's restaurant over brunch. Caroline always dreamt of eating biscuits and gravy in her wedding dress. It was a lovely day -- just what we wanted. We hope you will join us in November to celebrate the nuptials with our larger families and groups of friends.

Both The Graduate and Hilton are a five minute uber/lyft to Havana 59 and both in convenient locations for getting the most out of your Richmond stay. If you are booking online, please make sure to use the links below to take advantage of the discounted rate. If booking over the phone, let them know that you are a part of the "Day" block. Blocked hotel rooms are for 11/3/23-11/5/23 (Friday and Saturday nights).

Grab a coffee and do a little shopping in colorful Carytown! Some of our favorite spots for shopping are: Clementine and Walkabout Outfitters and for food: Can Can Brasserie and Sugar &amp; Twine.

Check out some of the fourteen amazing parks of the James River Park System that span eight miles along the James River. Our favorites are: Belle Isle and Brown's Island.

Visit Agecroft Hall &amp; Gardens, a majestic Tudor mansion built in the late 15th Century in England and brought to Richmond, Virginia piece by piece.

Go on a walk, grab a bite and check out beautiful views of the city from Libby Hill Park. Union Market is a great option for picnic snacks or a casual sit down meal.

Church Hill

Brambly Park is the perfect spot to easily meet up with groups of friends or family (or both). There are lots of flexible seating options (indoors, yurts, outdoors, and patios with heaters), great food, and yard games!
